Bartering Options

Unable to volunteer during the sale but want to earn volunteer privileges? Bartering may be just what you’re looking for. We try to keep our expenses low so we can keep your commission high. Take a look at the options below. If you see one that interests you, email amy@AllAboutKidsKC.com. Barters will be offered on a first come first serve basis, and they will fill up quickly!

Earn 70% commission and access to the volunteer presale.

Drinks

• Provide (4) 12 packs of soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi,  Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper).
• Provide (4) cases of bottled water (1 case = 24 bottles).

Meals/Snacks

• Provide a home-cooked meal (lunch or dinner) for 8 people on one of the sale days. Meal must include 1 main dish, 2 side dishes and any necessary condiments (dessert is optional).
• Provide a $20 gift card to a local fast food restaurant. Accepted restaurants include Arbys, McDonalds, Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, Jimmy Johns, Papa Johns.
• Provide snacks for volunteers. Choose one:
• Case of Snickers (Costco size)
• Lg. jar of mixed nuts (Costco size)
• Jar of peanut butter-filled pretzels (Costco)
• Fruit (bananas, grapes & apples)_

Supplies

• Provide a $20 gift card to a local office supply store.  Accepted stores include Office Depot, Staples, Wal-Mart.

Spread the word

• Deliver postcards to 10 area preschools, daycares, etc. (a list of locations w/ addresses will be provided to you).
• Distribute 20 yard signs to highly populated areas (locations must be approved by Amy)

Advertising

• Contact local businesses about putting a flier/coupon in our goody bags.  Must sell 5 ads to receive volunteer credit.

Bartering options can not be used to reach the Mega-Volunteer level.
