Volunteer work that pays!

Check your calendar, get a sitter, clear your schedule… WE NEED YOU! All About Kids is quickly approaching and we are so excited that you may be interested in volunteering!

By volunteering a minimum of just four hours you will be eligible for some amazing benefits! And one lucky volunteer will win 100% commission!

Volunteer Benefits

• Volunteers earn 70% of the selling price of their sold merchandise.
• Volunteers get to shop the sale before the public (see the presale schedule below).
• For each four hour shift a volunteer works, they earn an entry into our drawing for 100% commission. So, if you work 4 hours, you’re entered once, if you work 8 hours you’re entered twice. The more you volunteer the better your chances!
• Mega-Volunteers (those who work 20+ hrs.) earn 75% of their sales, shop the FIRST presale AND earn a $25 All About Kids gift card.

Volunteer Details

• Volunteers mainly help with greeting customers, straightening clothes, organizing the sales floor and helping at the check-out lines. We always have places for anyone with health concerns or who may be pregnant. Many jobs can be done sitting down.
• If you’ve never volunteered before, don’t worry, it’s very simple and we will show you what to do.
• When you arrive, please sign in at the volunteer check-in table and grab an apron.
• The Volunteer Presale is only for those volunteering! Husbands, moms & friends are only allowed to attend the consignor presale.
• Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
• Drinks and light snacks will be available, but please bring any meals that you might need during your shift.
• If you can’t volunteer during the sale, but want the volunteer benefits, consider our bartering options!  All of the options are first-come, first-served and will fill up fast. Click “bartering options” to the right to find out more.
